AI search visibility · Northamptonshire
More people are asking ChatGPT for a plumber than scrolling to page two of Google. Those tools read websites, not map pins — so if you haven't got one, they name a directory instead of you. I build websites for local businesses that never got round to it, with the SEO and the AI groundwork already in.

The actual problem
When an AI assistant is asked to recommend someone local, it reads what your site tells it in machine-readable form. If that's missing, it can't quote you with any confidence, so it names a directory instead — and your competitor is on that directory too.
Schema.org JSON-LD describing your trade, service area, hours, prices and accreditation — the same markup Google needs for rich results.
Questions people actually ask, answered in one or two sentences. Written the way these systems quote, not the way SEO agencies pad.
A plain-text summary at your site root for AI crawlers, plus a robots.txt that actually lets GPTBot, PerplexityBot and ClaudeBot in.

Local service businesses and one AI tool built for a furniture retailer. All live, all mine.

uneedvan.ukPricing
Every site gets the SEO and AI visibility work as standard — it is not an upsell, it is the reason the site is worth having. The difference between the two is how much site there is, and who changes it afterwards.
One page that does the job. For a business with nothing online but a Google pin.
Several pages, built around what you send me. You don't touch any software.
Hosting, small edits whenever you need them, and a monthly check of which AI assistants are naming you. Cancel any time; you keep the site either way.
The prices above are for the website. The domain — your yourbusiness.co.uk — is a separate yearly cost, usually somewhere around £10 to £15 depending on the name. Two ways to handle it:
Other than the domain, the prices above are what you pay — not VAT registered, so there's nothing added on top. No retainer, no minimum term, and I'll tell you plainly if you don't need the work.
Straight answers
It is the work of making a website machine readable so AI assistants can quote it. That means Schema.org structured data in JSON-LD, an FAQ written as direct answers, and an llms.txt file. Without those, an assistant reading your site has to guess, and it usually names a directory instead.
No, and anyone promising that is making it up. What is guaranteed is that your site becomes readable to these systems when it currently is not. That is a necessary condition, not a sufficient one, which is why the monthly option is £29 rather than £500.
That is exactly who this is for. Starting from nothing is easier and cheaper than fixing someone else's old site, and it means the SEO and AI visibility work is built in from the first line rather than bolted on.
£199 one-off for a one-page site with SEO and AI search visibility built in, or £599 one-off for a multi-page site with separate service pages and an editor so you can change things yourself. Monthly cover is an optional £29 with no contract.
You message me and I do it. There is no software for you to learn and nothing you can accidentally break. The £599 package includes three months of changes; after that it is either a small one-off charge or the £29 monthly cover, whichever works out cheaper for you.
However is quickest for you. WhatsApp the photos straight off your phone, email them, or send me a voice note describing what you want on each page. You do not need to write anything formal — I will tidy it up and send it back for you to approve.
No. The £199 and £599 prices are for the website itself. A domain is a separate yearly cost of roughly £10 to £15 depending on the name. You can buy it yourself from any registrar, or I will buy it for you at cost with no mark-up — registered in your name, with the login handed to you.
You do. It goes in your name with your details on the registration, and you get the login the same day. If you ever want to move to someone else, the domain goes with you and I do not need to be involved.
A one-page site is normally live within two to three working days. A multi-page site takes about a week, most of which is waiting on your photos and sign-off.
You do. Work goes on a domain in your name and you get the files. There is no lock-in on the one-off packages, and the monthly option can be cancelled any time without losing the site.
I am based in Irchester and work mostly across Northamptonshire: Wellingborough, Rushden, Higham Ferrers, Kettering, Corby, Northampton and Bedford. The work itself is remote, so anywhere in the UK is fine.
Free, no catch
Send me your Google listing or your Facebook page. I'll put together a real page for your business and send you the link — no deposit, nothing to fill in. I'll also ask ChatGPT, Perplexity, Claude and Google who they recommend for your trade in your town, and send you what comes back. If you're already being named, I'll say so and leave you to it.
